Palm Aire Farmer’s Market 12:00pm - 7:00pm | Herb Skolnick Community Center, 800 SW 36th Avenue

The City of Pompano Beach Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department is proud to announce a brand new Farmer’s Market coming to the Skolnick Community Center weekly starting May 8. This international food Farmer’s Market will include local artisans and growers. Multi-cultural cuisines will be represented including: fruits, vegetables, BBQ, Indian, Greek, Venezuelan, soups, organics, street foods, local honeys & a whole lot more!

Lunch with Art 12:15pm - 1:15pm | Bailey Contemporary Arts, 41 NE 1st Street

Trying new things has been proven to make you more creative, and it’s good for your brain. So each Wednesday we offer a new way to nourish your soul & get creative at The Bailey Contemporary Arts during your lunch hour…and it’s FREE!

No two weeks are the same as each new workshop offers a different creative experience and encourages you to step out of the mundane and explore your potential. Each simple, hands-on project becomes an escape from the daily stresses of life and reminds you how beauty can be found in even the most simplest of projects.

Guests are invited to bring their lunch, or grab a bite to eat from Blooming Bean Coffee Roasters, located in our West Gallery.

To ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to enjoy this program, seats will be available on a First-Come, First-Serve Basis, and Space Is Limited! However, even if our workshop reaches capacity, guests are able to explore the newest exhibits in our gallery, take the time to learn about upcoming programs, workshops, volunteer opportunities, and spend some time enjoying a coffee while unwinding in our West Gallery.

This unique community event featuring over 80 vendors is free and open to the public. You will find everything from housewares, toys, collectibles, tools, and so such more! Come out and pick up some great bargains. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Our critically acclaimed Lyrics Lab program is both a show and a showcase. Sit back, be inspired, motivated and moved by some of the area’s best spoken word and musical artists.
