On the first Thursday of each month, take a break from your day, bring your lunch and unleash your creativity. As you eat, enjoy a unique cultural experience that turns us all into poets. Each month, create, listen or watch different poems designed to spark the artist in you. Each workshop encourages you to step out of the mundane and explore your potential and escape from the daily stresses of life while remembering how beauty can be found in even the simplest of words. Guests are invited to bring their lunch, and a friend and come create a memorable piece of art. Free Wi-Fi available and light refreshments will be available.

Old Town Untapped is a monthly craft beer and arts festival hosted by the Pompano Beach CRA and features free samples of local beers crafted by breweries in Pompano Beach's emerging craft beer scene. In addition the streets of Old Town are lined with food trucks, artists, crafters and interactive art. Inside Bailey Contemporary Arts, guests can grab some locally roasted coffee at Blooming Bean Coffee Roasters and walk through the galleries rotating art exhibits each month.

Don’t miss the acclaimed Florida Youth Orchestra, featuring South Florida’s most talented young musicians, as they present a very special family concert with Grammy Award-winning Artist Nestor Torres. An exciting and varied program of music will be performed by the Flute Choir and two string ensembles, the musicians are ages 6-18. There will be interactive activities that make children in the audience part of the fun! Visit the post-concert “Play Pen” where kids can hold – and play – real orchestral instruments, and take home a Funbook with musical activities.

This long-term photographic project, which covered a five-year time span, was sanctioned by NASA and portrays a unique time in the history of human spaceflight. The images on display are majestic and profound, offering the viewer a sense of what was required to fly such a complex piece of technology.
