Music Under the Stars Join us for an evening of great music and entertainment as Vista Motor Company presents Music under the Stars every second Friday of the month. Music kicks off at 7:00pm at the Great Lawn located at the intersection of Atlantic and Pompano Beach Boulevard. Our featured band for this month is: Vinyl Band (Top 40’s) ** This event will be held on Saturday, Dec.15 due to the Boat Parade on Dec. 14.

Movies on the Lawn The City of Pompano Beach Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department invites bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics and come enjoy a featured presentation under the stars at the great lawn on the first Friday of every month at the Great Lawn. This is a free, family – friendly event. Due to daylight savings time, the movie will begin at 7 pm.

Boat Parade Bridge Closure Both the NE 14th Street Causeway and Atlantic Boulevard Intracoastal Waterway Bridges will be locked into the open position from 6:15 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday December 14th unlessunless the parade ends sooner. The Hillsboro and Commercial Boulevard Bridges will be operating under normal operating times. Please seek alternate routes to and from the beach during this time.

City Hall Parking Lot Closure Beginning November 26, the City of Pompano Beach will begin Construction work on the City Hall Parking Lot. During this time, parts of the parking lot will be unavailable for use.

The project will be completed in multiple stages with varying areas being affected during each phase. Please see this document for more information on the areas that will be closed and alternate parking.
