Mercy Me 7:00pm | Pompano Beach Amphitheater - 1801 NE 6th Street

The Pompano Beach Amp is proud to present three of the hottest acts in Christian music. MercyMe’s storied career speaks to the endurance of its members and the timelessness of its music. Joining the beloved band are special guests Ryan Stevenson and Unspoken.

With more than 9 million units in cumulative sales, MercyMe has seen 27 of their songs reach No. 1 across multiple Christian radio formats, in addition to garnering four mainstream radio hits. Their landmark song, “I Can Only Imagine,” was the first digital single in Christian music history to be certified platinum and double platinum. Billboard named them the Christian Artist of the Decade in 2009.

In addition, they have multiple GRAMMY® nominations, GMA Dove Awards and American Music Awards to their credit. 2014’s Welcome to the New proved to be one of the biggest releases of the group’s career, earning them two GRAMMY® nods and four long-reigning No. 1 smashes at radio. The album continues to be a top-selling title from a band that has been churning out hits for more than two decades.

And with their new release, MercyMe’s LIFER earned debut placements across multiple charts, including No. 10 on the Billboard Top 200 and No. 1 on Billboard Christian Album Charts. Throughout the street week of the album, LIFER sat atop the iTunes Christian Chart, while hitting No. 2 on the overall iTunes and Amazon Music Charts.

LIFER also pulled in No. 1s internationally, garnering the highest chart placement on the iTunes Christian & Gospel Albums Chart in India, Singapore, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Italy. The GRAMMY® nominees latest chart topper follows a string of top releases for the band. Simultaneous to the success of the record, “Even If” has topped both the Billboard Christian AC Indicator and Soft AC Charts while landing in the top 5 at Billboard Christian AC Monitored and Christian Airplay Charts. The first single from the awaited project has kept the No. 1 spot on iTunes and the Nielsen Christian tracks chart since its release on Feb. 17. MercyMe recently appeared on FOX & Friends to perform their hit single the day after the album drop.

The music of Ryan Stevenson blends influences from soul, pop, and some of the great guitarists to create engaging acoustic guitar driven melodies. Embracing the idea that some of the most profound moments of worship emerge not from mountain-top experiences but from difficult, perhaps even catastrophic circumstance gives Ryan’s lyrics a poetic vulnerability reflecting honestly on the difficulties everyone faces.

Unspoken is composed of Mike Gomez, Jon Lowry, Chad Mattson, Ariel Munoz, and the newest member, pianist Don Eanes. The band released their debut single “Who You Are” on the record label Centricity Music. Released on June 12, 2012,[3] the song has charted on numerous Christian song charts, and was the only song from the band’s debut EP Get to Me to be featured on their first full-length album. The self-titled debut LP Unspoken was released April 1, 2014. A five-song preview EP, The World Is Waking, was released July 24, 2013.They have had four straight Top 5 AC singles in their career including “Who You Are,” “Lift My Life Up,” “Start A Fire,” and “Good Fight,” with “Start A Fire” reaching No. 1; the song “Lift My Life Up” was also included on the 2015 WOW Hits Release. With successful tours alongside artists such as Big Daddy Weave and Sanctus Real, Unspoken has built steady momentum with their last two EP’s.
