Fifth Anniversary of BaCA Exhibition Opening Reception 6:00pm - 9:00pm | Bailey Contemporary Arts, 41 NE 1st Street

For the fifth anniversary of BaCA, which opened its doors on April 16 of 2014, the main galleries of BaCA will present an exhibition that features current and previous artists in residence. A reunion for many of these artists, public programming will present Artists Talks that feature the opportunities that developed at BaCA, encouraging current and future Artists in Residence. Participating artists will be invited to design memorabilia for the exhibition which will be sold throughout the exhibition.

Old Town Untapped 6:00pm - 9:00pm | Bailey Contemporary Arts, 41 NE 1st Street

Old Town Untapped is a monthly craft beer and arts festival hosted by the Pompano Beach CRA and features free samples of local beers crafted by breweries in Pompano Beach's emerging craft beer scene. In addition the streets of Old Town are lined with food trucks, artists, crafters and interactive art. Inside Bailey Contemporary Arts, guests can grab some locally roasted coffee at Blooming Bean Coffee Roasters and walk through the galleries rotating art exhibits each month.

Movies on the Lawn 7:00pm | The Great Lawn, Corner of Atlantic and Pompano Beach Blvd

The City of Pompano Beach Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department invites bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics and come enjoy a featured presentation under the stars at the great lawn on the first Friday of every month at the Great Lawn. This is a free, family – friendly event. The movie will begin at 7 pm.

Each simple, hands-on project becomes an escape from the daily stresses of life and reminds you how beauty can be found in even the most simplest of projects.

Guests are invited to bring their lunch, or grab a bite to eat from Blooming Bean Coffee Roasters, located in our West Gallery.

To ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to enjoy this program, seats will be available on a First-Come, First-Serve Basis, and Space Is Limited!
