City of Pompano Beach governmental offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, in observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday.
The newest federal holiday, Juneteenth National Independence Day, celebrates the end of slavery in the United States. On April 27, 2021, the City Commission approved Juneteenth as a paid holiday for City of Pompano Beach employees. |
