May 22- Betty Padgett
Betty Padgett made history as the first Black female artist to win the South Florida Blues Society’s IBC competition in 2021, and now you can experience her live at our very own Living Room Concert Series. As a true trailblazer, Betty is a dynamic singer, songwriter, and performer who has spent decades perfecting her craft, blending disco, soul, and blues into notes that earned her major recognition.
Throughout her career, Betty has had the privilege of collaborating with music legends like Gwen McRae, Denise LaSalle, and Bobby Bland. Her latest blues album, *Ridin' With The Blues*, has received immense praise and solidified her place as one of the most soulful voices in the genre. Betty is known for her powerful vocals and heartfelt delivery, adding stories of resilience and passion into every performance.
