Anthony Burks is known for his mastery in various media, including pen and ink, pastels, watercolor, and colored pencils. His artwork has been featured in numerous galleries and events. Over the last twenty years, he has dedicated himself to arts education, inspiring youth and adults to explore their creative potential. Burks has also co-curated several exhibitions, including Continuum PB Arts Fair, Collaboration: African Diaspora Exhibition, Karibu, and Boys II Men Art Expo, providing valuable exposure for artists at all stages of their careers.

Anthony has exhibited his artwork at various galleries, museums, and events. He also uses his skills to encourage artistic youth and adults to pursue their creative talents further and help promote the arts. He has co-curated various exhibitions, including Continuum PB Arts Fair, Collaboration: African Diaspora Exhibition, Karibu, and Boys II Men Art Expo, just to name a few. These exhibitions have provided opportunities for emerging, mid-career and established artists and have exposed them to collectors who may not have had the opportunity otherwise. Over the last 20 years, he has also provided opportunities to develop artistic skills in drawing and art appreciation through arts education and artistic techniques.
Burks’ art is a blend of mind and heart, reflecting his deep passion and respect for creativity. His works, often featuring subjects like birds, animals, and women's beauty, are infused with bright colors and abstract forms that encourage freedom of interpretation. The goal of his work is for viewers to experience the same sense of freedom in their viewing as he does in his creation.
