Book: So You Want to Be an Athlete by Brandin Bryant
He’s not just an NFL player—Brandin Bryant is an author, entrepreneur, and role model dedicated to inspiring the next generation. With an impressive eight-year career in the NFL and a standout college football background at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), where he excelled as a four-year starter and majored in Communication Studies, Brandin understands the power of hard work, perseverance, and the right mindset to achieve success, both on and off the field.
Born in Omaha, Nebraska, and starting his journey at Fort Scott Community College before transferring to FAU, Brandin later entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, showcasing his determination and skill. Expanding his horizons beyond sports, he ventured into writing, publishing his debut children's book, "So, You Want to Be an Athlete?" in January 2024, followed by his second book, "Can I Pet That Dog?". In these books, he draws from his own experiences to teach kids about building strength, setting goals, and overcoming obstacles—valuable lessons for any aspiring athlete or dreamer.
Brandin is also committed to giving back to his alma mater, FAU, where he volunteers with the football program, helping with player development, recruiting, and coaching. As a sought-after speaker, he shares his journey and insights on mental health and performance, inspiring young people across the country. Through his speaking engagements, Brandin fosters meaningful conversations that empower individuals to reach their full potential.
