Commissioner Alison Fournier, District 3
Alison Fournier was elected to the City Commission in November 2022 to represent the residents of District 3.
Alison was born in Alaska and grew up in the midwest before moving to Florida in 1992. Alison graduated from Chaminade-Madonna High School in Hollywood, FL in 1998. Ms. Fournier earned a Bachelor of Science & Engineering Degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Princeton University. Subsequently, she worked at Boeing in Everett, WA as an engineer designing commercial airplanes while simultaneously attending the University of Washington and earning a Master of Science degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics Engineering with a concentration in Fluid Dynamics.
In 2006, Ms. Fournier earned a MBA from Harvard Business School and began her career as an investment banker at Evercore Partners. Alison was promoted to Vice President of M&A and was responsible for financial diligence and analysis for dozens of M&A transactions. She also served as a member of the management committee and was the staffer for junior bankers.
Alison moved to Pompano Beach in 2011. She currently owns and manages long term residential rental properties throughout the City of Pompano Beach and is a Realtor with LoKation Real Estate.
Alison is married and has two children. Alison has always been active in her community and is honored to represent the residents of District 3.
