Back-to-School Backpack and Supplies Giveaway | Fun-Filled Event to Feature Food, Music, Games and Free Haircuts!

The City of Pompano Beach Firefighter’s Benevolent and Broward County Sheriff’s Office Advisory Council are proud to sponsor the Back-to-School Backpack and Supplies Giveaway this Saturday, August 5th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Centennial Park located at 450 NE 10th Street.
Hundreds of free backpacks, filled with age-appropriate supplies, will be handed out to students in grades K-12, during a fun-filled event that will feature food, games, music and free haircuts!
“We are honored to help support the young students in our community through this initiative,” said Hector Jimenez, President of the Pompano Beach Firefighter’s Benevolent, “We know many families are struggling to make ends meet, and we hope this event will provide the opportunity for our kids to start the year with confidence!”
Backpacks will be distributed one per student, while supplies last.
