The City of Pompano Beach is partnering with the National Weather Service to host the 2024 Hurricane Season Kick-Off Event on Wednesday, June 5^th, at 6:00 p.m. The event will be held in the City of Pompano Beach Commission Chambers at 100 W. Atlantic Boulevard.

The Hurricane Season Kick-Off Event will feature a special presentation by the highly respected Miami/South Florida National Weather Service Warning Coordination Meteorologist-in-Charge Robert Molleda. His insights and forecasts, which are invaluable for our community's preparedness, will be shared. The event will also include a welcome from Mayor Rex Hardin, important information from the City’s Fire Chief and Emergency Management Division, and a showcase of the useful tools the City offers to help you stay informed before, during and after a storm.

As a token of our appreciation for your participation, we are offering free giveaways to the first 75 attendees. Additionally, everyone will have an exciting opportunity to win great prizes.
