Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update | Public Meetings Announced

The Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the update of its Parks and Recreation Master Plan, which aims to enhance recreational opportunities and community engagement for our residents. This comprehensive plan will guide the development and management of parks and recreational facilities over the next decade.

The updated Master Plan will reflect community input gathered through online surveys, public meetings, and stakeholder interviews that will be held over the next few months.

Key priorities identified include:

  • Accessibility Improvements: Ensuring parks and facilities are welcoming and accessible to all residents.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Incorporating eco-friendly practices and promoting environmental stewardship within our parks.
  • Infrastructure Enhancements: Upgrading existing facilities and adding new amenities to meet community needs.

This updated Master Plan is a crucial step in ensuring that our parks and recreation services and offerings continue to reflect the values and desires of our residents

The Parks and Recreation Department encourages community members to provide feedback during the public meetings below. All meetings begin at 6:00 p.m.
