The City of Pompano Beach, Office of Housing and Urban Improvement (OHUI) has officially OPENED its Waiting List for low-income City residents seeking assistance through the Housing Rehabilitation and Emergency Repair Programs. The Housing Rehabilitation Program Waiting List will remain open until the maximum number of applicants (200) has been reached. Please see public notice below for additional details.

The city provides up to $60,000 for home repairs for income eligible homeowners. These funds are utilized to make necessary improvements to ensure that the home is safe and meets current code requirements. Eligible repairs include correcting code violations, weatherization, roof, plumbing and electrical improvements, septic systems, etc. The rehabilitation program is open once a year.
