Housing Rehabilitation Program - CLOSED

The City of Pompano Beach, Office of Housing and Urban Improvement (OHUI) has temporarily closed its Housing Rehabilitation Program to new applications due to the current volume of cases being processed. Effective August 20, 2026, OHUI is no longer accepting new applications for the Housing Rehabilitation Program.

Applicants who submitted or started an application on or before August 20, 2026, will continue to have access to their existing application, regardless of its current status.

The City provides up to $80,000 for home repairs for income-eligible homeowners. These funds are utilized to make necessary improvements to ensure that the home is safe and meets current code requirements. Eligible repairs may include correcting code violations, weatherization, roof, plumbing and electrical improvements, septic systems, and other eligible repairs.
