Broward County Multimodal Mobility Master Plan
Broward County is looking for a diverse group of participants to engage in a focus group. The goal of the focus group is to learn more about people’s perceptions of safety, comfort, and convenience of walking and bicycling paths in Broward County.
Moderators will lead a guided discussion with focus group participants to discuss their experiences using walking and biking paths in Broward County and ideas for improvement. The information we gather will influence the development of the Broward County Multimodal Mobility Master Plan.

My Safe Florida Home Program
The My Safe Florida Home Program is now open and accepting applications for free hurricane home inspections. Owners of any site-built, single-family residential Florida property may apply for a free home hurricane inspection. The owner will receive an inspection report and recommended improvements. Eligible applicants may then apply for program grant money for home strengthening improvements.

Vulnerable Population Registry
The Vulnerable Population Registration was designed as a joint partnership between all municipalities and Broward County to assist emergency responders to better plan for future recoveries from hurricanes and other disasters. Registering into the database should not be considered as a guarantee that you will be provided services or be placed on a priority list for emergency responders; however, it will help us to be better prepared to respond after a disaster. Historic Register
The city of Pompano Beach is seeking nominations for its Historic Register. Nominations may include properties owned by private citizens, businesses and nonprofit organizations. The properties or sites must reflect a distinct architectural style that is worthy of preservation or must represent a person, event or era that was important in the history and development of Pompano Beach. In general, properties should be at least 50 years old. The city and Broward County offer tax incentives for properties on the city's Historic Register.
